Christie Spessard is a New York-based actress from Vail, Colorado. She recently graduated from Baldwin Wallace University, where she earned her BFA in acting and dance minor. Her need for constant movement has carried her through life with her background in competitive figure skating, which has helped her with her dance minor and stage combat studies. During her time at BW, she has found a home in physical theatre, as well as a passion for new works and Shakespeare. From portraying Beezelbub in Dr. Faustus as an angsty frat boy to playing Farrah, the double sword-wielding, homicidal, dancing fairy in She Kills Monsters, Christie brings her exuberant, intense, wildcard energy to every role she plays. Christie just recently moved to New York City and worked as a Set Production Assistant on HBO's "The Gilded Age". As the show wraps up, Christie looks forward to finding opportunities in theatre, film/tv, as well as branching out into comedy. When not performing, Christie loves to write, make short films, roller skate, and ski.
