I was born near the bayou (unfortunately not on it or I would be MUCH cooler) and raised in New Orleans.
I started out in local theater, majored in Drama in college, and spent my twenties in New York, London and Los Angeles chasing acting jobs and cute, rock and roll boys.
Acting was my first, true love, but we had a bad breakup in the late-nineties and didn't speak for many years. However, we were recently reintroduced through standup comedy, and I'm happy to say that we are now back together and stronger than ever!
I was a single mom for seven years, I have three grown children, I play the harmonica, and I rearrange my furniture when I'm feeling anxious, much to my husband's dismay.
