Leta Renée-Alan is a proud native New Yorker. She would love to be cast in a part where she could utilize her scuba diving license and her passport (either US or most recently EU). A girl can dream right!
She became SAG eligible last year with a role in The Drummer starring Danny Glover (currently in post-production). Leta's favorite NY theater credits include: The Weasel Festival (The Public Theater); Outer Banks (Signature Theatre, Directed by Sarah Wansley); The Animals by Amina Henry (JACK); The Place We Built by Sarah Gancher (The Flea, director by Danya Taymor); and Clybourne Park (Brooklyn College, directed by Mary Beth Easley).
She received her BA from Brown University and her MFA from Brooklyn College Graduate Acting. She is based in New York but can be a local hire in DC, Chicago and LA. Check her out on instagram @LetaReneeAlan and on her website at: www.LetaReneeAlan.com.
